Nooitgedacht is a 300-year-old wine estate bordering the picturesque town of Stellenbosch in the Cape Wine Lands, South Africa. This family-owned and managed estate is beautifully maintained, with many of the buildings restored and decorated to their former glory.

An exceptionally special setting for weddings, Nooitgedacht is a classic wedding venue with facilities that’ll make for an unforgettable occasion.

The manor house has a bridal dressing suite, decorated in original furniture and objects de art, each piece an antique dating back to the late eighteen hundreds. Here, the bride and her entourage can peacefully prepare for the ceremony while guests gather in the period gardens.

The smaller wine cellar / chapel provides a cool, captivating setting for wedding ceremonies, where all eyes are on the bridal couple as they share their lifelong vows.

The large cellar, with its rustic atmosphere, is used for the function area and can be tastefully decorated to add individual personality to the occasion.

The gardens, old buildings and antique furniture are excellent for wedding photography. A Bridal suite is available.

The estate comprises the Cape Dutch manor house and outbuildings spread around a lush tree’d garden.

Nooitgedacht is owned and managed by the Wirth family. Each family member contributes their own passion and energy towards the smooth running of the organization. They’re proud of their cultural heritage and are prepared to share it with us.
