Constantia Uitsig Wedding

La Colombe

La Colombe, one of Cape Town’s most well-loved and awarded restaurants, has achieved an impressive 12th place in the San Pellegrino World’s 50 Best Restaurants of the World Awards 2010. The restaurant overlooks a picturesque and secluded courtyard, affording the perfect fairytale wedding venue. La Colombe offers a three-course menu, at a cost of R485 per person (valid until end of September 2012). During summer, the restaurant is able to accommodate up to 100 people and for exclusive use of the restaurant, a minimum charge of 70 set menus is applicable.

Constantia Uitsig Restaurant

Housed in the original Cape Dutch Homestead and offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and vineyards, is Constantia Uitsig Restaurant. Under the expert hand of Head Chef Clayton Bell, it has earned international reputation for having a stylish, yet relaxed atmosphere and offers widely varied Mediterranean Provencal Cuisine. Warm and attentive waiters, together with a sumptuous three-course menu at a cost of R420 per person (valid until the end of September 2012), makes Constantia Uitsig Restaurant the ultimate venue for your exclusive wedding. The restaurant is able to accommodate a maximum of 120 guests (80 guests in the main dining room whilst a further 40 guests can be accommodated in the adjacent dining rooms). During summer and over weekends, a minimum charge of 80 set menus is applicable. For exclusive winter weddings, Constantia Uitsig Restaurant offers their three-course set-menu at a reduced rate for a minimum number of 60 guests. This offer is valid between May and September and is available for lunch or dinner weddings.

River Café

River Café offers a casual, yet spectacular, alternative to the above options. Situated at the entrance of the Estate, River Café has long been a popular social haunt in the Constantia Valley and is well known for its sumptuous breakfasts, lunches and more recently, dinners. With its relaxed ambience, pristine location and friendly service, along with set menus starting from R260 per person (valid until the end of September 2012), River Café provides the ideal venue for your wedding. This delightful venue is able to accommodate a maximum of 120 people outside, 50 people in the Tea Room and 45 in the Red Room, a semi-private venue. A minimum of 80 guests is applicable from October until the end of April for exclusive use of the venue.
