Shokran is a unique events venue situated in a magnificent, tranquil farm setting amidst pecan nut and almond plantations, 12km from the Woodlands Shopping Centre on the Eastern side of Pretoria (Garsfontein Road). 

It has an upmarket, rustic relaxed feel to it with a Moroccan inspired theme, which has been brought to life with personally selected and imported Moroccan finishing and décor.

It consists of a beautiful thatched-roof hall, which has been fitted with imported Moroccan handcrafted finishing such as lights, doors & windows. It boosts a stunning fireplace and has large farm style “stoeps” surrounding it. 

Outside there are lush green lawns under beautiful indigenous trees. And the Moroccan grass umbrellas and mosaic tables adjacent to an almond tree plantation make it a truly magical setting. We have a beautiful tent with large Moroccan lights rounded off with soft white curtains and beautiful Moroccan tassels which you can use for your wedding ceremony or any outside event.

Shokran can host between 20 and 150 guests and has been designed to accommodate a variety of events such as weddings, corporate events, special occasions like 50th and kiddies parties to name a few.

Our thatched hall has exquisite Moroccan finishings which opens out onto a beautiful almond tree plantation, creating an unforgettable setting and experience. Your buffet meal can get served in our Maroc Lifestyle showroom amidst all the treasures we import from Morocco.

We cater for weddings between 30 and 150 guests but if you cannot cut the guest list at 100, we will make alternative arrangements.

You can always use the hall as a chapel and we will set up a marquee tent for the reception. However big your wedding, we will assist in making your dream come true.
