Valverde Country Hotel was created out of the passion of providing customers with a welcoming environment, personal service and a team of experienced professionals ready to go out of their way to make your wedding the most memorable day of your life. The natural beauty of the landscape and the view over the Elandsdrift Valley serve as a perfect backdrop for the 8ha property’s picturesque gardens, colourful flowers and fountains.

Valverde Country Hotel is situated in the Muldersdrift area (Lammermoor) and is extremely well located for both the business person and tourist who wants the tranquility of the country with easy access to Fourways, Sandton, Randburg and Pretoria. Valverde Country Hotel is within easy access to the main highways [N1 & R28 (N14)].

Valverde Country Hotel is situated only 10 minutes from Lanseria International Airport from where daily flights operate to Cape Town and various other attractions in South Africa. Its excellent location makes Valverde Country Hotel ideal for weddings, day conferences, company breakaways, and international and business travelers.

Valverde Country Hotel lies on the brink of the Cradle of Humankind – a listed World Heritage Site where our ancestors once roamed free. The Cradle of Humankind and its surrounds offer game watching and fine cuisine to the discerning connoisseur.

Valverde Weddings

Valverde Country Hotel has two wedding venues catering for 20 to 200 guests. Each wedding venue has its own chapel and reception area for the privacy of your guests. Valverde also caters for garden ceremonies, morning weddings and picnic weddings. We do not charge venue hire. Guests only pay the menu price per person and a 10% service charge. Menu prices range from R250 to R320 per person for an afternoon/evening wedding. Valverde owners, Joaquin and Pamina, are available to show guests the venues from Monday to Sunday from 9:00 to 16:00, no appointment needed!

Kings Hall and Jasmine Chapel… The Kings Hall seats up to 120 guests, with a spacious raised dance floor, fire place and a separate buffet area. The Jasmine Chapel overlooks the Elandsdrift Valley and the Renaissance garden. It is furnished with wrought iron features, wooden pews, a red carpet and an arch at the entrance. The garden can be used as an alternate venue for the wedding ceremony. Minimum 80 guests on a Saturday afternoon.

The Olive Lapa and Vista Chapel… The Olive Lapa seats up to 200 guests (indoor and outdoor seating) and is decorated with fairy lights and lanterns. The Vista Chapel is furnished with banquet chairs, a wooden cross and red carpet. The adjacent Renaissance garden can be used as an alternate venue for the wedding ceremony. Both the Olive Lapa and the Vista Chapel overlook the Elandsdrift Valley. Minimum 100 guests on a Saturday afternoon.
