Fynbos Estate Weddings
Exchanging Vows… With gardens, farm and nature reserve at your fingertips, Fynbos Estate offers a variety of outdoor and indoor possibilities for your ceremony. You can marry in the lovely indigenous gardens, on the stone steps of the Pavilion or in the surrounding fields or vineyards. Or you can exchange vows indoors in the old chapel with its original 1850 features and wide windows overlooking the valley. The chapel can seat 80 people, while for smaller indoor weddings, there is also the graceful old farmhouse itself.
After the ceremony you may like to have champagne and orange juice or an aperitif together with canapés. These can be served, perhaps while you are having photographs taken, in the courtyard outside the chapel, in the Farmhouse gardens or around the Pavilion pool.
Many beautiful locations offer themselves for your wedding reception. One very lovely spot is on the garden lawns under the hundred year-old oaks surrounded by singing birds and flowering shrubs.
For an indoor /outdoor feel (also with protection from rain and wind), the Pavilion under Dragonridge Mountain is a magical space with lovely views, wooden floors, adjustable awnings and garden courtyards. On a clear night The Pavilion lies beneath a starry dome and at certain times of the year the unforgettable Milky Way fills the night sky.
Whether in the Pavilion or the garden, tables and seating can be fashioned to your requirements. Capacity in the Pavilion is limited to 80.
