Cape Weddings
Cape weddings are popular for very good reasons. First of all, Cape Town and its surrounds is one of the most beautiful places on earth. Table Mountain is probably one of the most recognisable land marks anywhere. Anywhere you are in Cape Town, you are surrounded by mountains and the sea, from the Atlantic on the one side to the Indian Ocean on the other, and the two oceans meet at Cape Point. Great weather and a favourable exchange rate make Cape Town a very popular venue for weddings, as well as the lack of legal red tape as far as the ceremony is concerned. There is no required length of stay and the paper work is uncomplicated compared to other destinations.
Cape Town has also been voted the Best City in the World, 2008 by the "Daily Telegraph" in England, beating cities such as Sydney and San Fransisco! So this is a major achievement. Cape Town also boasts the Best Mayor in the World in Helen Zille; another major achievement for our beautiful city!
Cape Town is a laid-back city with a cosmopolitan vibe, great shopping opportunities, superb restaurants and great bars and clubs for your entertainment when the sun sets. It is the most popular city in Africa for tourists, so its tourist sites and attractions are world class.
